International Course 2015
Leadership and Professional Skills in Psychiatry and Neurology

Dear colleague,

it is my pleasure to invite you to attend a course on leadership and professional skills in psychiatry and neurology, which is being organized by National Institute of Mental Health, Prague, Czech Republic with the support of Lundbeck International Neuroscience Foundation.

The International course 2015 aims are to help participants in their professional development and to improve their leadership and management skills as well as skills needed for the preparation of research projects, lectures, and publications. It is conceived as an interactive course with the performance of real and practical tasks facilitated by experienced proffessionals. In addition, participants will also have the opportunity to prepare their own project proposal. The professional age of participants is defined, i.e. two years before/after the end of the postgraduate training.

The three-day course will be led by tutors having an extensive experience in leading similar programmes and providing basic skills to young psychiatrists and young researchers in programmes of European Psychiatric Association, the Vienna School of Clinical Research, the World Psychiatric Association, Czech Neuro-Psychopharmacological Society and in other frameworks – prof. Norman Sartorius, MD, PhD, FRCPsych, assoc. prof. Pavel Mohr, M.D., Ph.D. and prof. Cyril Höschl, MD, DCs., FRCPsych.

This course is funded by the Lundbeck International Neuroscience Foundation.

It will take place on April 24–26, 2015 in Klecany, the Czech Republic, on the premises of the National Institute of Mental Health.
Official course language is English.

The participants will not have to pay a registration nor tuition fee. In addition the participants will be provided with
•    training materials related to the course,  
•    refreshment and meals (including an invitation to the reception on April 24, 2015).

The participants are expected to cover their transportation and accommodation expenses (please see the Accommodation suggestions)
